Our ingredients

We work with multiple local suppliers to source all of the grains and other ingredients that go into our breads and pastries. Our bread is handmade—from the farmers who mill and harvest our grains, to the bakers who put passion and care into each item they make.

Our story

Antoine’s Pastry Shop has been proudly serving the Greater Boston area since 1954, specializing in French and Italian pastries for over 71 years right here in Newton, MA.

Allergens

Our bakery relies on traditional family recipes that require us to use the finest wheat flours, eggs, milk, nuts, cream, and chocolates every day. If you have questions or concerns about our ingredients, we’re happy to provide you with details. While we wish we could accommodate everyone’s needs, we understand that may not always be possible—and your safety and good health are incredibly important to us. Please note that cross contamination is always a possibility in our facility. Even if something is flourless or made without nuts, we have flour in the air and nuts many items. We want you to be happy with our offerings, but as important, we want you to be safe.

Our History

Antoine Khachadourian started the bakery in 1954 along with his three brothers, his sister, and his parents. Immigrating here from Marseille, France during World War Two, Antoine worked at the Ritz Carlton baking and then saved up enough to open Antoine’s Pasty Shop with Rene, George, Irene, and Johnny. Specializing in French and Italian pastry, cakes, wedding cakes, and bread.
